Last Saturday [Nov 24th] the Library’s Festival room was flowing with Negative Energy as the Pelham Art Association welcomed internationally recognized artist Linda Kemp with her Acrylic Painting on Clay-board workshop.

The Pelham Art Association hosted a Batik Watercolour Workshop by encaustic artist Linda Virio of Bowmanville this past Saturday at the Pelham Public Library. Eight area artists enjoyed the day experimenting with wax layers and water colour paints on rice paper.


The Pelham Art Association’s “Members’ June Exhibition” is on display June 1 - 27, showing paintings in a variety of styles, mediums, and sizes. From animals and florals to figurative and non-objective abstracts, many have been worked on during classes instructed by Gloria Kingma, of Dunnville, while others were completed by the artists themselves. The Pelham Art Association encourages artistic development through the spring and fall exhibitions, with adult students of all levels displaying their works of art. 

Tracy Greening and her assistant, Alyssa Poulin-Combdon, had a table representing the Pelham Art Association at the Pelham Family Day-Community Expo, with the painting activities for the young ones

Please visit the Pelham Art Show at the Library in Fonthill. We have many really good artists in our community and here is a great opportunity to see their work.
