Told through story, music, movement and video, this visually arresting theatre piece embodies our local history and animates the mayhem, tragedies and triumphs of this national waterway. Essential Collective Theatre celebrates Canada's 150th Anniversary of Confederation with this original play about the canal that helped to shape the Niagara Region.

The Home Alone Safety for Kids program helps children and their families get ready for their child's first steps towards independence and being home without adult supervision. This safety program is ideally suited for children ages 9-12 years old. Safety and accident prevention are the common theme throughout this program.
The Pelham Farmers’ Market will be host the 2017 Apple Festival on Thursday October 5th from 4:30pm - Dusk. There will be free apple fritters, apple cider and apple balloons for children under 12. Other events on the day are as follows:
Adults at any age (18+) can start skating with this program which is geared towards learning, or improving on, the basics of skating. Participants will be introduced to various skills involving moving forward and backward, gliding, stopping, turning and developing endurance. If you are interested in building your fundamentals or just want to learn to skate recreationally, Adult Learn to Skate is for you!

Communities all across Canada have been chosen to participate in this initiative managed by Come Alive Outside to promote the importance of outdoor, unstructured play. The Green Street challenge offers a way to celebrate outdoor play and green spaces as essential ingredients to the well being of our society.

Children of all skill level are invited to join us at Marlene Stewart Streit Park for skateboard lessons led by highly qualified male and female instructors.

Focusing on skills, balance and style, skateboarders will have 2 ½ hours of instruction, 3 days per week. Campers will be placed in groups based on age and ability level. Whether you are a true beginner or working on improving your skating, you will enjoy what this camp offers. This camp includes Bissell's on Tuesday and Thursday day trip. Helmet and pads are required.
